Have you ever wondered why our product photos look like... well, they were taken in an office by an amateur?
That's because they were taken in an office. By us, with our own hands – and sometimes right next to our own coffee machine.
So yes, maybe a little clumsy, but at least they're real.
But today – we're talking about GELINA.
The GELINA style got its name – surprise, surprise – from Gelina. Sleeves always rolled up, glass always half full.
The same goes for the sweatshirt: three-quarter sleeves (so they're practically rolled up already), a V-neck and a cut-in waist. Material – 60% cotton, 40% polyester, with a lovely peach-finish inside. So soft you'll want to wear it right away.
But the road there was... let's just say, not linear.
The first sample batch arrived and honestly – it was made for spaghetti arms. I'm not exaggerating! My 7-year-old model tried on a size S – the sleeves were like blood-pressure cuffs.
Second attempt, new manufacturer – a glimmer of hope. Finally human arms fitted into the sleeves, even a 7-year-old's. Progress!
Third attempt? Bullseye.
Same size chart, third manufacturer, and finally the product we actually wanted. As the classic saying goes: three is the GELINA law.
Now we finally have a few sizes of dark red (burgundy) GELINA in stock.
As always – if you think for long, you wait for long.
So if you feel your wardrobe needs a pep talk with sleeves and a bit of V-neck, be quick! 😉
More GELINAs are coming, but as you may have gathered from our earlier posts... you never know when.
